I love this picture! I so very much want Obama to be the political Jedi that we need but damn, he got dealt a shitty hand to play. We really needed him 8 years ago. There are some serious-ass systemic problems out there that Obama may not be able to address because of the enormity of the numerous bailout and stimulus packages. These problems are also esoteric, meaning that the average American won’t be able to understand them. Obama is a master communicator but it’s always easier to play the contrarian and the Republicans will be doing their best to obfuscate these issues. Hopefully they fail.
