Emergency Post
I saw this and I need to put it on. I saw it, I was angry, I was proud, I was sad, it so well encompasses what I feel. I don't care if you're religious, I'm happy for you. I want you to believe in god, I want you to practice your religion. I don't want you applying your religion to laws that affect me. I know you can interpret the constitution many ways, but freedom of religion should really mean that anything not optional, anything state mandated applying to everyone should be devoid of religious influence. If you don't want to buy alcohol on sunday, don't buy it. If you're a private business and don't want to sell on sunday, don't sell. But don't pass laws about it. I am an atheist and I have been described as one of the nicest, most understanding people by others I know, even though it takes some people time to realize I'm an atheist, not an anarchist satanist. Watch this video, and allow yourself to challenge what is for what should be.
